Bonnie Kathleen Wright was born in London, England, U.K. in the 17th of February of the year 1991. She's the daughter of Gary Wright and Sheila Teague, the jewellery designers who together they run Wright & Teague and the sister of Lewis Wright.

Bonnie first film debut was at the age of 9 when she was casted to play Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter series. Although her part was small, but she got a bigger rule when she appeared in the 2nd film of the series, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. She continued playing her Ginny role throughout the rest of the series. In 2002, she played the part of young Sarah Robinson in the Hallmark production of Stranded. In 2004 she played the part of young Agatha Christie in the BBC production Agatha Christie: A Life in Pictures. She also did her share of voice acting when she played the character of Vanessa in Disney's The Replacements.
